1. Delete your account in the app
To delete your Your Naseeb account and its associated data:
- Open the Your Naseeb app and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then "Manage my account".
- Choose "Close and schedule deletion of my account" and confirm.
2. If you cannot sign in
If you no longer have access to your device, email or sign-in method, email info@yournaseeb.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We may ask for information to verify that you are the account holder before we proceed.
3. What is deleted, and when
Your profile is hidden from Discovery, Explore and every other member the moment you request deletion; existing matches see only an unavailable placeholder with no photo or profile access. Your sign-in method (Firebase authentication) is normally deleted immediately, so the same email can be used to create a new account.
Your account and profile data - including photos, videos, voice introductions, messages and profile answers - is then kept out of ordinary use and scheduled for permanent deletion two years after your request, when an automated monthly process erases it. This inactive retention period exists only for safety, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance and deletion-operation purposes; it is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
Where information remains in encrypted backups, it is isolated from ordinary use and removed through our normal backup-rotation process, on a separate schedule from the two-year deletion above.
4. When deletion may be delayed
If you have an open safety report against you, or an administrator has placed a documented fraud, ban, safety or legal hold on your account, deletion of the relevant information is delayed until that hold is resolved. This protects other members and lets us meet legal obligations. Everything else in this page still applies once the hold is lifted.
5. Deleting only some of your data
You do not need to delete your whole account to remove individual photos, videos or your voice introduction - you can remove any of these directly from Profile Edit at any time.
