1. About these Terms
Your Naseeb is provided by Your Naseeb, London, United Kingdom (“Your Naseeb”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at info@yournaseeb.com.
These Terms form a contract between you and us when you create an account or use our app, website, communications, matching, profile, moderation or related services (together, the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy and Community and Safety Standards also apply.
If local law gives you rights that cannot legally be limited by these Terms, those rights continue to apply.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter a contract, and permitted to use the Service under the laws that apply to you. The Service is intended for individual, personal and non-commercial use by people genuinely seeking a marriage partner.
- You must provide your real date of birth and accurate account and profile information.
- You may not create an account for another person, impersonate anyone, or create a replacement account to evade a restriction.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and device secure and for activity performed through your account.
- You must promptly tell us at info@yournaseeb.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. What Your Naseeb provides
The Service helps members create marriage profiles, set preferences, discover and like profiles, form mutual matches, exchange messages and permitted media, and make audio or video calls.
We do not promise that you will receive recommendations, form a match, enter a relationship or marry. Compatibility information and profile statements come from members and are not professional, religious, legal or relationship advice.
Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, we do not conduct criminal-record, financial, immigration, employment or comprehensive identity checks. A badge or approved item means only that the stated review was completed; it is not a guarantee that a member is safe, truthful or suitable.
4. Your profile and content
You keep ownership of text, photographs, video, audio, messages and other material you submit (“Member Content”). You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt for technical delivery, display, transmit, moderate and otherwise use Member Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, safety, reporting, fraud or legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.
Profile visibility, photo blurring and selective media reveal controls reduce exposure but cannot prevent screenshots, screen recordings, copying or off-platform sharing by other people. Do not upload anything you could not safely disclose to an intended viewer.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow our Community and Safety Standards and all applicable laws. In particular, you must not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, shame, exploit or discriminate against another person;
- post hateful, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, deceptive or non-consensual material;
- involve, depict, contact or attempt to meet anyone under 18 through the Service;
- request money, run a scam, solicit investments, sell services, advertise or send spam;
- publish private information, conversations or intimate material without permission;
- use bots, scraping, automated accounts, reverse engineering or security-bypass techniques;
- misuse reporting, moderation, calls, notifications or media-reveal controls;
- encourage crime, terrorism, self-harm, abuse or other serious harm.
6. Matching, visibility and communications
Recommendations and filters use the information and preferences members provide, including age, location, background, family plans and faith-related choices. Filters may reduce results and do not guarantee compatibility. We do not use this process to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
A mutual match may enable chat and calling. Messages can be delivered by push notification when the recipient is not actively viewing the conversation, subject to their notification settings. Audio and video calls are not recorded by Your Naseeb, although limited call metadata is retained for operation and safety.
Members control whether their marriage profile is shown to everyone, only people they have liked, or no new people. Blocking, unmatching, account restrictions and deletion can end access to a profile or conversation.
7. Safety and meeting in person
You are responsible for your interactions and decisions. Take time to verify information, keep early conversations on the Service, do not send money, protect your address and financial information, tell someone you trust about a meeting, meet in a public place and arrange your own transport.
Use the in-app block and report tools when possible. Contact emergency services immediately if anyone is in imminent danger. Reporting to us is not a substitute for contacting police or another appropriate authority.
8. Review, reporting and enforcement
We may use automated controls and authorised administrators or moderators to review profiles, media, reports and relevant reported conversation evidence. We may remove content, limit visibility, pause publication, warn, unmatch, suspend, ban or retain evidence where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance or enforcement.
We may act without advance notice where notice could create risk, compromise an investigation or be unlawful. You may ask for a review of an enforcement decision by contacting info@yournaseeb.com with your account email and relevant details.
We do not guarantee that every item is reviewed before publication or that moderation will identify every violation.
9. The introductory membership offer
Eligible new members may receive one year of promotional membership after completing onboarding. No credit card or payment information is required, and the promotional period does not automatically renew into a paid subscription.
The offer is personal, non-transferable, limited to one per person, and available for a limited time. We may prevent duplicate, fraudulent or abusive claims and may change or end the offer for future members. Ending the offer will not remove a promotional period already validly granted unless the account is suspended or closed under these Terms.
The MVP currently provides no paid subscription or in-app purchase. If paid products are introduced, their price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before purchase and these Terms will be updated where required.
10. Third-party services
Parts of the Service rely on third parties for authentication, hosting, data storage, notifications, maps, location search, call connectivity and device sharing. Their systems may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party apps or destinations that you choose to open or share content with.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, brand, designs, software and content supplied by us are owned by or licensed to Your Naseeb and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended personal purpose while these Terms apply.
12. Service availability and changes
The Service is an MVP and may change. We may add, change or retire features, perform maintenance, impose reasonable usage limits or release security updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and required by law.
13. Closing an account
You can hide your profile, take a break or request account closure through Settings. Closing an account hides it from members and ends ordinary access. Authentication is normally removed promptly, while inactive account and profile data is scheduled for deletion after two years for safety, fraud-prevention, legal and deletion-operation purposes.
Open reports, fraud, bans, safety incidents or legal obligations may place limited evidence on hold beyond the scheduled date until the reason for the hold is resolved. The Privacy Policy explains this retention in more detail. Deleting the app from your device does not itself close your account.
14. Our responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this contract began, losses caused by another member or third party, business losses arising from personal use, or events outside our reasonable control. You remain responsible for evaluating members, safeguarding your information and deciding whether to communicate or meet.
15. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere, mandatory local consumer law may allow you to bring a claim in your home courts.
Please send complaints to info@yournaseeb.com. Include enough detail for us to identify the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will update the version date and request renewed acceptance where a change materially affects your rights or use of the Service.
